Charging Mobile Devices in Indoor Environments

Wireless power transfer promises to revolutionize the way in which we use and mobile devices. However, low efficiencies prevent this technology from seeing wide scale real-world adoption. The aim of work is quasioptics develop a system composed dielectric lens fed by phased array reduce spillover losses, increasing beam efficiency, while working on antenna system’s Fresnel zone. DC-RF electronics, digital beamforming beam-steering an FPGA, radiating 4 × microstrip patch have been developed experimented upon, has designed simulated. This paper details these preliminary results, where radiation pattern was measured, showing that being generated steered as expected, prompting construction for complete experimentation.
